When asked, what advice Melissa would give another bride on how to fully enjoy her own day too, she said, “Don’t stress the small stuff.” Letting little things bother you can become overwhelming, but Melissa said keeping that phrase in mind helped her relax and have the best time! The Bride and Groom also chose to help minimize stress with a little “one-stop shopping” and used Duvall as their caterer, bar services, and event planner. That left just a few other things to decide in the wedding planning process. The couple selected Charleston Flower Market for the finest bouquets and arrangements; they chose Charleston Uplighting for their beautifully done event lighting; of course, the best Charleston Wedding Photographer had to document the big day (We just LOVE that Melissa and Beau think Valerie & Co. Photographers is the best!); and they picked a wonderful wedding venue, the Pepper Plantation, to hold their event. Pepper Plantation is located in Awendaw, SC, just outside the busy and bustling historic city of Charleston. The plantation pavillion is described as a classic but rustic "barn-inspired pavilion with deep Lowcountry-style porches, exposed wooden beams, massive indoor/outdoor fireplaces", a cozy fire-pit on the lawn, and a dock on the water with a charming gazebo at the end. All of these stunning and unique features made the best location for Melissa and Beau's November Wedding!
That day, the event and the couple looked perfect and you can tell by the way that these two look at each other that they feel they're with the perfect person :-) Everything seamlessly came together for Melissa and Beau and at the end of the night their celebration came to a close with the Bride and Groom ridding off in a white vintage Rolls Royce "get-away" car from A Charleston Wedding; on to their next journey together!
