They remained school friends through the years and in High School, Jarrett had developed a crush on Andrea. They dated but lively Andrea found Jarrett to be more shy than she thought she’d like and the high school romance was short lived. Time marched on and separately, each attended college, graduated, and began their careers. Then one beautiful beach day, the two just happened to run into each other at Folly Beach and, third time’s the charm, Andrea and Jarrett hit it off!
That sweet little kindergarten crush 20 years later sparked into true love. Fast forward to March 29th, 2015, It was a gorgeous day at the historic Magnolia Plantation and Gardens in Charleston, SC and Andrea and Jarrett were preparing to say their I do’s! The location is one of the most beautiful sites, a Charleston destination must see, and the most charming place for this sweet couple’s wedding.
Spring time flowers were blooming and the bouquets for the bridesmaids and bride were full of touches of pink from roses & peonies, soft whites like those from the Hydrangea, and of green. The bridesmaids dresses were a beautiful light mint green that call to the season of spring and complimented the soft pinks throughout the venue.
When reflecting on their big day, they both say that they’re favorite part of that day was “The First Gander” as they affectionately called it! Andrea said, “The wedding day is such a whirlwind, and having that private moment together was so special and calming; I felt like I could catch my breath.”
The entire wedding was an elegant affair that they love dearly. The couple have since decided to grow their new family and are expecting their 1st child in August! Congratulations to these two and to all of their dreams coming true!
